LBFF Giving Mission

LBFF’s giving mission is to bring the craft of filmmaking directly to youth facing housing insecurity and other resource‑limited circumstances, opening doors that have too often been closed.

Through hands‑on workshops, screenings, panels, and mentorship, we give emerging storytellers the tools to dream, to create, and to see themselves as artists with a future.

We believe storytelling is a form of survival, a way to reclaim identity, build confidence, and imagine a life beyond the limits of circumstance.

LBFF is where a child who has been overlooked can become a creator and Where a camera becomes a voice.

We’re building the next generation of Long Beach storytellers by ensuring every child, regardless of their situation, has access to the magic of filmmaking.
